Kidsgrove Playground has a pavillion that is able to be reserved by the public. .
The pavillion is located directly next to the playground and is near our restroom facilities. The pavillion has many picnic tables for your entertaining needs. You are responsible for any food, paper products, etc that you will need. Please be sure to clean up the area for the next visitor to come!
The playground is not maintained by the Selinsgrove Boro and there are no tax dollars used to help fund it. We rely solely on donations, grants and fund-raisers to cover the expenses incurred to maintain the restrooms and the play area and to keep it safe for our children.
The following is some important information about using the pavilion and the playground:
1 – The entire playground (inside and outside the fenced area) is smoke free.
2 – There are no alcoholic beverages permitted on the property.
3 – The playground closes at dusk.
4 – The pavilion has 8 tables and can comfortably seat 64 adults.
5 – Because the tables are made of recycled plastic, portable grills are not permitted on the tables. It can cause them to melt. We do have a charcoal grill at the pavilion for your convenience. Please empty your used charcoal in the charcoal pit.
6 – There is currently no electricity in the pavilion itself, however, there is electricity provided on the utility pole located near it. You must provide an extension cord.
7 – You are welcome to decorate the pavilion for parties, but we do ask that you remove all decorations before you leave.
8 – Please clean up all trash when you are done. There are two trash receptacles located at the pavilion.
9 – There is no charge for reserving our pavilion; however, donations are very gratefully accepted.
